England Team Selection Announced: Bellingham and Foden Omitted, Bukayo Makes Comeback

The England manager has opted to stick with the same Three Lions selection that triumphed against Andorra and delivered an impressive display in Serbia last month, leaving no room for Jude Bellingham and the Manchester City attacker in his group for the forthcoming friendly against Wales and the qualifying match in Latvia.

Although Foden pushing for a return to the squad after rediscovering his form at Manchester City, and Jude Bellingham having returned for Real Madrid following shoulder surgery, the national team manager has decided against selecting two of the nation's biggest attacking talents. The young midfielder has been in the starting lineup just a single time for his club since his comeback.

The England boss has found space for the Arsenal winger, who is fully recovered and has been reinstated in place of his unavailable Arsenal teammate Noni Madueke. Jack Grealish has not received a recall.

The national team coach highlighted the energy in the previous selection and seems intent on maintaining the vibe. Tino Livramento, who started at left-back in the 5-0 win in Belgrade, has been ruled out due to a knee injury. The manager has not called up a direct replacement for the Magpies star but has selected the Manchester City defender, who had to pull out previously. He has spoken about the centre-back's significance for England and has suggested using him in midfield.

No spot has been found for the midfielder, who was called up last month but pulled out due to injury and was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Tuchel said: “A mere three weeks after the previous gathering and the most recent victory, the last performance, so the consideration was why not bring the identical squad in because they set the standard. The focus now is on building routines out of it. We have unfortunately a couple of fitness issues at the moment with Livramento and Madueke and we bring of course the Arsenal forward in to replace Madueke. Jarell Quansah was a last-minute addition last time; he will stay in camp.”
